Mary Ann Gibson was my 1st Babysitter on Ostrom Ave in 1963. As we moved across continents & seas following my Father's US Navy Duty Stations dear Mary Ann would post us Birthday, Holiday, & Life Events Cards with wonderful greetings, encouragements, & gifts. Every visit to Syracuse had to be blessed by some Mary Ann Gibson time.

My first memories are of my family and Maryann and of course Carol my mother's friends... She was a wonderful example of what a woman could grow up and become... I will miss her dearly...

On behalf of my family I'd like to send our deepest condolences to the family of Miss Gibson. I knew Miss Gibson when I was a child and growing up through the years as she was a loyal customer of our parents beauty salon - Francois Coiffure Creations. She continued being a friend sending cards and letters to us even after the beauty shop closed. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed.

My first childhood memories of MaryAnn are concurrent with my first memories of my own mother , her dear friend Ginny .
There was never a time when I do not remember her visits in our home with my mother and her thoughtfulness in always taking an interest in the ambitions , achievements , disappointments of all us children .
Dispensing sweet support but always with a little bit of a challenge attached . Precious experiences I will carry with me always .
Thank you MaryAnn for responding to God and making your life a blessing to others . Believing , doing , loving . Such purposeful living enriches the world and we were very blessed to have you in our family circle .

Mary Ann was a wonderful person. Auntie, as she was called by her family were the love of her life. She talked about them all the time. I am one of the fortunate people that had the opportunity to know her. Mary Ann, I will miss you and may you Rest In Peace.
