Agnes "Aggie" A. Greeley, 81, of Syracuse, NY passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016. She graduated from St. Vincent de Paul High School in 1952 and was the valedictorian for her class. She was also a cheerleader and played the piano while being active in the music ministry. She went on to work as the manager of Human Resource Recruitment for Willard Associates and Retired from the State of NY Division of Parole after many years of service. She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She also volunteered for Our Lady's Rosary Maker's and many other organizations including the Oxford Inn and I'm Smart. She never said no to a request for a bake sale and was known for wonderful desserts. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Matilda Lipke, siblings, Marion Brower, Rita (Fred) Bourlier, Robert (Moya) Lipke, and Donald Lipke. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James F. Greeley, daughters; Mary (Sean) Walton, Ann (Dan) Nelms and a son, Jim (Becky) Greeley. She is also survived by her sister, Jean (Joe) Britt, 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11am at St. Ann's Church, 4471 Onondaga Blvd., Syracuse, NY 13219. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10-11am at St. Ann's Church prior to the mass. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
