My deepest condolences to Mr. Tom Murphys Family - I had him as a professor in OCC back in 2000-2001-Death Investigation and Special Investigation. He was an Awsome professor and very sharp dressed man. A Wednesday night class, I remember him saying we are not going to be for the full time. Always had a coffee in hand.

My beautiful, sweetheart of a Mother, Carol Murphy, was married to Tom for 19 years. She was his biggest cheerleader and supporter, especially during the last months of his life when she took the lone role of caregiver- the hardest job in the world. Thank you, Mom, for giving Big Tom dignity at the end of his life and spending countless hours by his side, I am so proud of you for your strength and unconditional love of Tom and his entire family. Sending love to the entire Murphy family for your acceptance and support of my Mom and for acknowledging her role in his life and the tremendous sacrifices she has made in order to help him. You are a saint on earth, Mom, and I know Tom is watching and cheering you on now! ❤️

My sincerest sympathy to the Murphy family for the loss Tom. He was a great friend at Thousand Island Park. We had frequent encounters especially at the Tabernacle every Sunday, but also the Guzzle, the hotel, concerts on the green but most memorable around the pavilion where without fail he would ask if I was interested in selling my boat yet. He was a wonderful and gentle man who will be missed by many. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
