This was at Dee's house celebrating her birthday ... she was a good friend, she would always be truthful with me, never sugar coated anything and I think that is what a good friend should do! I am so going to miss you ... I ran into you a lot and it always brought a smile to my face ... It was great to have the breakfast club with the Barker Beauties ... you, Sonja, Lisa and myself were so tight back in da' day ... I will always have fond memories when I think of you ... rest easy my friend you will be missed!

Being a Mom was tough for Dianna, she struggled -- but throughout -- her fierce love for her babies was never in question. The photo in her overalls, that is Dianna celebrating Dian's first birthday. There is the photo with Dian about to dig into her first cupcake! Sweet Sarah -- cute as can be -- and likely up to some mischief! And there is Patrick ... strong, happy baby! Those that knew Dianna know there were many ups and downs; but there are also joyful memories to hold onto. It is with hope that all three of you know, and carry forward in your hearts, that through all of life's challenges and human imperfections, your Mom loved you all so very, very much.

Dianna loved "vintage" photos of our family and was so good at linking relationships and making connections in her Genealogy research. Dianna, I share some of your favorites that you gave to me years ago, you gave me the best memories to hold onto and remember you by. When we were little we use to play endless hours together, she with her Chrissy doll and me with my Velvet doll - we were so impressed our dolls hair could 'grow!' Another vivid memory is we would play down in the basement in our make-believe country we called "Goulash Land" ... ride our tricycles around and 'sell' make believe baked goods and clothing. Our duo was enriched when along came sweet baby Patti, then the only boy (wow) Michael ... and throughout she was our big sister. She loved these photos and I hope they make everyone smile remembering the very best of her that we all love so much.
