Obituary of John Dennis Waite

John Dennis Waite, 78 of Syracuse passed away July 31, 2021 with his family by his side. He was a loving, and kind husband, father and brother.

He graduated from Most Holy Rosary and retired from Anheuser Busch after working over thirty years. John was an avid golfer, where he played at Tuscarora Golf Club with his lifelong friends. While he loved spending time at the Pastimes and hanging with his buddies at Steve's Bar, his favorite thing to do was be with his family and play with his grandchildren.

John was predeceased by his parents, George and Helen (O'Connell) Waite. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara Foster Waite, his daughters, Ashley (Chad) McAdam and Molly Waite, his sister, Kathleen Waite Casey, his grandchildren, Colin and Riley McAdam and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at St. Patrick's St. Brigid's Church.  Calling hours will be on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 4 to 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 216 North Lowell Ave., Syracuse, NY.
