Thomas Davis

Obituary of Thomas F. Davis

On Monday, August 2, 2021, Thomas F. Davis II (Tuck), of Syracuse entered into eternal rest with the Lord.  He was the proud son of the late Thomas F. Davis and Frances Jordan Davis.  He was also predeceased by his loving sister, Barbara Ann Kerwin, and his granddaughter, Dylan Regina, all of Syracuse.

Tom was born on January 6, 1947,  in Syracuse, NY and graduated from Most Holy Rosary high school in 1964.  He later went to school and received his certification to be a registered x-ray technician, where he worked at Crouse Irving Memorial for 33 years.

Tom met the love of his life Regina M. Duckett Davis while working at Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Regina was attending Nursing school.  Together, they raised 6 children, Maureen (Jim) Smith, Sean (Kaitlin) of Plymouth, MA, Kevin (Cynthia) of Miami, FL., Katie Cook, Ryan (Kristen) and Meghan (Joe) Knittel, all of the Syracuse area.

Over the years he was known for his big, joyful laugh and was always welcoming to all those he met.  He was an avid fan of all Syracuse sports, Notre Dame football and the Saint Louis Cardinals, but his biggest accomplishment was being the biggest and best fan to his kids and 18 grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Regina of 51 years, all his children, a brother in law Matthew Kerwin as well additional brother and sisters in law.
