John R. "Jack" Lane Obituary
John R. "Jack" Lane, 69, of Syracuse passed away Sunday January 25th surrounded by his family. Jack retired from Niagara Mohawk as a consumer relations supervisor. He was a communicant of Most Holy Rosary Church. Jack was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially during the Holiday season. He was a graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy.
He is predeceased by his parent's Robert and Mary (Sullivan) Lane and a brother-in-law Ted Bowen. Jack is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (VanDusen) Lane; daughters, Karen Phillips (Mark Ventrone) and Kelley (Joseph) Kelly; three sisters, Marilyn (Joseph) Halliday, Eileen Bowen and Robin (Kevin) Downey; a brother, Lawrence (Kathy) Lane; grandchildren, Kirstie and Joshua Phillips and Colin and Lauren Kelly as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday at 10:30am at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave and 11:00am at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be private.
