I have known Helen since I was a small child- our families spent much time together including sharing many family vacations. She was like a second Mom... from her taxiing us around in the DaileyMobile (aka Suburban) to her cooking some "Yummy Pork Chops," I will always treasure those moments she made special. One thing I will never forget is her infectious smile.. she really knew how to light up a room.
I would like to send my condolences to the entire Dailey and Saur families... May Helen never be forgotten; she has left an impact on so many..

Helen was one of those people that seemed to be there all the time. When I moved to Berkshire Ave, I entered Webster in 3rd grade and one of the first persons that came up to me and welcomed me was Helen. She was taller than me because I was so short but she always had that enigmatic smile. Her brother Kenny was one of the gang of kids that played sandlot baseball, who always had a knack to say something funny. And when we played, Helen was usually there watching us. I delivered the morning and evening papers for four years and delivered the newspaper to her house, When I stopped by the house when Helen came to the door, we would get to talking so much that I would lose sight of the time. Helen was a sweet, beautiful girl that always made you feel better when she was around. You will be missed!

Helen and I walked to school daily! It started at Webster School, then Grant Junior High, North High School and from there rides to Henninger High. I used to take a short cut from her back yard to the Orlicks to get over to Maplehurst Ave. We NEVER got tired of talking about school, family or music, or boys! Stopping at the Goodie Shop for sodas of a slice of pizza next door-it was always fun. So sorry to think she will be missing at our upcoming reunion in Sept. Loving thoughts to the family, missing such a special lady in your life. May any suffering for Helen now be over. Very sorry to be in California to offer my respects to the family.
