Obituary of Jack Knowlton

Please share a memory of Jack to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Jack Knowlton passed away on May 6, 2022. Jack is predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Knowlton, step-father, Richard Gall, sister, Michelle Haas, and brother, Patrick Knowlton.  He is survived by his, loving, longtime companion of 21 years, Joanne Cutri, sister, Fran (Robert) Morse and brother, Michael (Laurie) Knowlton, and two children; Zachary and Peter Knowlton, along with several nieces and nephews.

Jack was a fun loving, handshaking gentleman and always held to the fact that there is good in everyone.  His personality lead him through a life of sales and also loved working for the NY State liquor Authority.  Jack worked for several establishments, including managing and bartending at The Country Tavern, and also worked Munchy’s Bar and Asil’s Pub for several years.  He was an avid fly fisherman, golfer, lover of Nascar, and a wonderful cook.  Jack also loved music, esp. Triumph, Peter Frampton and many others.  He enjoyed planting his vegetable garden yearly.  Jack will be remembered by all as the nicest person on the face of the earth.  If you have ever received a card from Jack, you will be familiar with his signature signing: YOU DONE GOOD! And jack you most certainly did.  We will cherish and love you forever.

At Jack’s request, there will be no services.  A Celebration of Life is to be held at Asil’s Pub, 220 Chapel Dr. on Saturday, May 14th from 1-4pm.
