Obituary of Sandra Lee (Hanrahan) Stack

Sandy left this beautiful earth on May 8, 2022.  She was Born June 28 1937 and raised in South Glens Falls, NY. She Graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Social Work and was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority and spent her life living here in Syracuse.

Sandy had so many gifts of talent…she was a sewer, a knitter, an embroiderer, a pianist, an artist- which many of you saw her paintings winning first place at the NY State Fair yearly. She loved her garden, she played the guitar, and even found time to bake desert every night after dinner for her family. She made home-made Kahlua, but her biggest gift was her three grandchildren, Will, Hannah and Sage.

Dementia may have taken her talents away but Sandy always continued to love her family. 

She loved dearly her husband of 61+ years Thomas Stack, her son, Kevin who passed away in 2009, and her daughter, Shancy, her mother and father who left this earth so many years ago - Adena and Edward Hanrahan, along with her brother, Tony, and her two beautiful sisters, Betty and Maureen, who love her so dearly. 

Her friends- you all know who you are and who were so kind and helpful, especially Laurie, who was a bonus daughter to Sandy. 

So now Mom, Grandma, Sandy …Have a Dewars and Soda, and shop all you want on QVC with no worry!
