Obituary of Thomas William Hearn

Thomas William Hearn of Camillus and Sackets Harbor, NY, and formerly of Westvale, NY, passed away on Monday May 9th, 2022.

Thomas was a lifelong resident of Syracuse.  Born and raised in East Syracuse, Tom attended  St. John The Evangelist high school where he met his great love and wife of 55 years, Sandra Palladino Hearn.  

For Over 40 years Tom served his Country honorably, was a war veteran and Department of Defense employee.  He obtained a degree in engineering from Empire State College.

In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his children, Thomas J. (Michele), Joseph (Alana), Kevin (Ellie), Colleen Lauricella (Allen).  His grandchildren, Will, Sam, Charlie, Jack, Max, Katie, Andrew, Madalyn, Claire, Josephine and Tallulah.   

He is also survived by his siblings, Reverend Philip Hearn, Kathy Griffin, Sue Ferris and Elizabeth Klamm. 

Tom was a friend to many, and an accomplice for children of all ages. We will miss his easy laughter, his optimism and his unwavering support for the people he loved.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon, Thursday, May 12, at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Calling hours will precede the service beginning at 10:00AM. Burial will be in Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
