Arlene Petrivelli, 91, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on June 8, 2022 at home, surrounded by her family.  Arlene was a librarian and worked for NY Bell, Cedar Grove Library and the Town of Montclair and Montclair State Library in NJ.  She was a member and a deacon of the Fairmount Community Church.  Arlene was very active and enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing poker with friends. She loved music, books and her family.

 

Arlene was predeceased by her husband, Francis “Peachie,” daughter, Nancy Hoppes and her parents, Ruth and Richard Angwin, and brother, Richard Angwin.

 

She is survived by children, Elaine (Leon) Gordon, James (Jennie), Ron (Susan), and Janice, 5 grandchildren, Christine, David, Michael, Mike, and Arlena and 2 great grandchildren, Emmett and Ally and many nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11:00am at Fairmount Community Church; 126 S. Terry Rd. Calling hours will be on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 4 to 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
