I am shocked and saddened to hear that we have lost Peter. He was a wonderful union brother who combined great professional skill with equally great humor and his own brand of charm. USW Local 9265 benefitted greatly from his membership and its members benefitted from his unfailing wit and friendship. I send sincere sympathy to Peter's family. May he rest in peace.

Dear Michael, Christopher and Sean, My Heart is so sad for all of you and your families. Your Dad was such a great guy I have many beautiful memories with him. I will always cherish the 10 days you all vacationed with me on Otisco Lake. What a great time that was. You 3 little guys,your Mom and your Dad!!! We had a blast !!! Swimming, boating, fishing and just having fun Your Dad told me just last summer that it was one of the best vacations they ever had with you boys.We laughed about a few special moments of that wonderful time! Cappy, Mike, Sean, Chris,
Your brother, father was one of a kind! For as long as I can remember, at every family gathering, he would light up the room.
To say that he was funny doesn't do justice to his endless wit! As the youngest cousin in the family, I was always trying to hang
out with my older cousins during summers in Cape Vincent, especially Mike and Pete. This became problematic for them as they got older and more interested in the girls at the town dock dances. Pete always had a plan (I always fell for) for ditching me. Never was he mean or rude to me, always sending me on some mission that at the time seemed urgent. Of course when I returned, they had vanished!
As a teenager, after many unsucessful attempts to get Pete take me for a ride on his motorcycle, the day finally arrived and I got
my ride. His motorcycle was monsterous, I couldn't even hold it up. The ride was life changing! I never rode on a motorcycle again!
Over the years, I have often wondered if that ride was by design.
Pete will missed!
Please find comfort in knowing that Pete and Betsy are together again. Betsy complimented him well. I for one know, that they
are cracking heaven up! RIP Peter!

Very sad to hear the news today of Peter’s passing. I knew Coz for almost 60 years and reconnected with him after a long absence some six years ago. I always looked forward to get a funny text from him and to hear about his sons visiting and to hear the joy he had for his Grandchildren. A great wit and one smart guy. My thoughts and heart go out to his many friends and entire family. Peace and Love Peter. We already miss you.

To Pete’s family
I had the pleasure of meeting Pete several years ago when he joined our golf league. Everyone in our league loved his sense of humor and great personality. I also saw him at Jazz Fest at OCC enjoying music with his good friend and golf partner Ron Churchill. I am glad I knew Pete (Cozzie) and want to extend my condolences to you all.
