Josephine M. Fitzpatrick, 86 of Syracuse, NY passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 with family by her side.  Josephine was born in Knockmehill, County Tipperary. She emigrated to America at the age of 14 years old to live with her Aunt Winifred. Josephine was employed at Syracuse Savings Bank for 35 years and then at Community General Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and Our Lady of Hope Church.

Josephine is predeceased by her husband, Kieran of 56 years, her parents, and her siblings.   She is survived by her children, Michael, Patrick, Peg (Rollin) Mincher, Sean, and Maureen (Mark) Edlund, two grandchildren, Shamus and Kiera Edlund, who were the light of her life, sisters, Ann Keegan and Marion Dillon and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 9am at Our Lady of Hope, 4845 S. Salina St, Syracuse, NY 13205. Calling hours will be held on Friday, from 4-7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
