Obituary of Alice B. Wall

Alice B. Wall, 87, of Camillus and Oneida Lake, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2022. Alice graduated from Valley High School and was employed and retired from Harnett Law firm as a legal secretary for many, many years. She was a member of St. Ann’s Church. Alice spent a lot of her time volunteering at church, was a member of the funeral committee, organized and created the flower bouquets for masses and was a Eucharistic minister. Alice’s favorite pastimes included spending time with her family and working side by side with her husband, Ace, doing projects at their camp on Oneida Lake. Alice loved reading and knitting. She knitted not only for her friends and family, but also for several charities and organizations. For relaxation, she loved her sports, including football, basketball and baseball, she would watch them all while knitting.   

She is predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, William J. Wall. She is survived by two sons, Joseph (Aiza) and James (Wendy); two daughters, Michelle (David) Hicks and Colleen (the late Steven) Poole; eight grandchildren, Jordyn and Meghan Poole, Logan and Gavin Hicks, Jack and Olivia Wall, Alyssa Wall and Anthony Darling; a sister, Joan E. Boland; a brother-in-law, John E. Wall; one niece and eight nephews.

Services will be held October 13, 2022, 8:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, 4471 Onondaga Blvd. Syracuse NY. Calling hour will be from 8:00am to 8:30 at church prior to mass. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.
