I share my condolences to the Syrocki family and greater Syracuse. Bernie was my God Mother and was a best friend to my Grandmother Norma Triche who passed in 2006. She was a very kind person and gentle soul. It was always a pleasure to see her. I could never forget her face and warmth. A recent memory, is My son was born 5/28/2018 and she volunteered at Community Hospital to pray for families. Unknown to me, after my wife and I gave birth to our son, she happened to be in the hospital. She saw my name, said that’s her grandson and came down to our room to sit and talk to us and see our son. It was a beautiful moment and validated to me from God that my Grandma Norma was watching over us through her and that our son MJ would be okay. She sat with us for some time, hugged, and talked. I thanked her for coming down. She will forever be in my heart.
