This morning you are on my mind, thinking back to when we first became friends and how much you helped me in my early recovery. You helped me when no one else was and I’m forever thankful for that. I am so glad we had reconnected when we had, even though it was short lived. I am glad I was able to try and be there for you as you had been for me. I briefly worked with Matt years ago at Onondaga County. Our casual talks about sports and life were always fun. I loved his smile, laugh and sense of humor. I'll always remember our occasional lunch time walks and great conversation. I know he had developed a strong Faith in God.
