The heartfelt tribute for Mrs.Fox at her funeral Mass was profound. St. Patrick’s Church cradled her all her life and now in her death, too. Sue, and Family, So sorry to hear about your mom. She was always a classy Irish Catholic lady and so friendly on the few times we met each other. Mom's are often the sole of the family and I am sure Mary was as well. As Jack, you and me used to joke, we were third cousins, once removed. In other words, tea cup cousins with the Corbett's! I met Mary late in her life, only twice as I recall in 2017 and 2018. About the same time that I married her daughter Maureen Terese whom I love dearly and feel so fortunate to now be a family member. Mary had few words for me but I’ll never forget. Those words were, “take good care of my daughter or you will be introduced to my shotgun”.
Well Mary, be comforted that I will always do that. I’m sure you’ll keep watch of me and that the shotgun is still by your side.

Many stories and memories were shared throughout the years by Connie (Mary) Egan as it relates to the best friend relationship she and Mary shared. When Connie would share, she always had a twinkle in her eye. I knew Mary was special to her.
