Louise Lasher, 93, of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully November 15, 2022.

 

Louise was born in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Canada on August 5, 1929. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Charles Church in Westvale. Louise was an avid tennis player, fan of the New York Yankees and Syracuse Athletics. Above all, she cherished time with her family.

 

Louise was predeceased by her husband, Francis M. Lasher, son, Marc DeSocio, and grandson, John Ryan DeSocio.

 

She is survived by children, Diane (William) Garland, Michelle (Richard) Cavanaugh, Christine Karas, Renee (William) McKee, Monique Jackson, John (Patty) DeSocio, Danielle (Salvatore) Aversa, Pierre DeSocio, Andree Kerner, Stephan (Tricia) Lasher, a sister, Monique Finan, 25 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday December 13, 2022 at 11am at St. Charles Church, 501 South Orchard Rd. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10-11am prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery DeWitt, NY.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Charles-St. Ann Church, 4461 Onondaga Blvd. Syracuse, NY13219.
