What a great neighbor to have.John kept to himself mostly but if you needed it done just ask and if he could he would.I'm referring to so many years I can't possibly add up that John helped our Mom next door with yard work,the mowing, fixing the little things, and most important a listening ear.He really enjoyed that garden of his, hated his driveway, complained about himself starting to slow down and not being able to snowblow ,drive as much, get to the mailbox ,etc.etc. And then the very next second come out with a bleep and a blah blah blah that would bring you to your knees laughing...Then he'd look right at ya with a twinkle in his eye and a smirk on his face. He did it again. He got his point across .Someone had listened.... Thanks John from all the Schoonmaker family.
