Obituary of Michael Condon

Michael “Mike” Condon, 75, a resident of Syracuse and a beloved brother and uncle, passed away peacefully at Francis House with his family by his side.

Mike was an all-city baseball player in the last class at Valley High School.  After graduating from Clarkson University, Mike lived and worked in Connecticut most of his adult life.  Mike was a sports enthusiast, a trivia wiz, a big fan of the NY Giants and Atlanta Braves.  Mike eventually relocated back to Syracuse and retired from Erie Materials.

Mike was predeceased by his wife, Judy, his parents, Bob and Betty Condon, brother, TJ Condon.  He is survived by his brother, Pat (Sue) Condon, sisters, Maureen (Stacey) Condon, and Robyn (Casey) Flanagan; stepson, Scott McCrory, his nieces, Erin Telfair, Lindsay (Stephen) Ianzito, and Kelsey Flanagan; and great niece and nephews, Gabrielle Scott, Isaiah and Tyler Simpson.

We would like to express our gratitude to all the staff and volunteers at Francis House. Your compassion and generosity will forever be in our hearts. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208.

Family and friends may call from 3:00pm-6:00pm on Friday, June 30, 2023 at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home at 3180 Bellevue Avenue, Syracuse. A short service will follow after the calling hours at 6pm.
