Hey, you crazy cat lady. You and I clicked like a seat belt and mixed like oil and water. One of a kind? You wouldn't fit into a mold if one was sculpted around you. You did some pretty amazing things in this humble world, in this little place we call Westside. You saved countless four-legged lives, and who knows how many Wayward Souls.
But even the mighty cannot refuse his call. You did everything you came here to do. Now your heart is needed in a place we cannot go right now. But so many have been waiting for you.
My tears are not just for the loss of you Joanne. Because knowing the pain you had been feeling is no longer hurting you brings me comfort. But I will weep for the emptiness your lack of presence leaves behind.
I'm sorry you got the last word in a couple of weeks ago... because I may be a 'smart butt' as you said driving off... but you, my friend.... well, when I see you next.... I am getting the last word!
