Carolyn A. Grieb Obituary

Carolyn A. Grieb, 80,  passed away September 4, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 12, 1943 in Schenectady, NY.  Carolyn resided in Syracuse for most of her life; she was a graduate of St Anthony’s and was employed as a bookkeeper for over 40 years at Autotech of Syracuse.


She is survived by 4 children; Brian (Tanya) of Atlanta GA, Cathy Speach of Syracuse, Edward (Lisa) of Liverpool, and Michael (Sarah) of Syracuse, her sister, Pat (Fred) Hagemann of Syracuse, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.


She most enjoyed spending time with her family, walking her dog in Elmwood Park, and tending to her garden and bird feeders.


Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 4 to 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Belleuve Ave. Syracuse, NY. Her Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 12pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 310 Montgomery St, Syracuse, NY 13202.
