William (Bill) Bleich, 66, of Port Ontario, NY died October 8 from complications of a cardiac arrest after a long illness.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Cindy, his son Will (Missy) grandchildren, Wesley and Carson, stepdaughter, Megan Sienkiewicz (Mike), brother-in-law, Randy (Carol) Cardinell, sister in law, Debbie Cummings, his siblings, Barbara Hamilton-Sustad and Herman (Cecilia) Bleich, many extended family members, and wonderful friends that he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Marjorie (Mason) Bleich and his sister, Marjorie Brown.

Bill graduated from culinary school and worked at Syracuse University for 18 years. He was a proud father, grandfather and a loving husband. Bill was an avid sports enthusiast. His team favorites were Syracuse University basketball and football, New Orleans Saints and the New York Mets. His kindness, humor, optimism, resiliency, and love for his family will be greatly missed.

There will be no services. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
