Daniel W. “Dan” Knox, 62, of Syracuse passed away peacefully surrounded by his family November 22, 2023 at Upstate Medical University.
Born in Syracuse on April 10, 1961 to the late Robert and Genevieve Knox. Dan spent over 30 years with AT&T before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the Syracuse Crunch. He cherished the time spent with his family.
He is predeceased by his parents as well as his brothers, John and Scott.
Dan is survived by his daughter, Katelyn Knox, siblings, Patricia (David) Peck, Robert (Cynthia) and Kelly (John) Ball, companion, Ashley Garcia and her son, Michael as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many close friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday November 27, 2023 at 10am at St. Patrick’s Church. Calling Hours will be held Sunday November 26, 2023 from 1pm-3pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son funeral Home. Private Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Marcellus.
