John H. Senecal, 95, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2023. John graduated from LeMoyne College and was retired from his vice president position at Marsh- McLennan Insurance Company.  He was the Godfather of his cousin, Susie and her children, Derek and Stacey. John loved his cottage on Lake Ontario and looking at the lake.

He was predeceased by his parents, Marie and Thomas Senecal and his brother, Thomas.

John is survived by his cousin, Suzanne (Kenneth) Sparks, her children, Derek (Kristy) Sparks and Stacey (Ty) Brent and her grandchildren, Tyler and Logan Brent.

John will be laid to rest in St. Agnes Cemetery. His Memorial Mass will be held at 9am on January 16, 2024 at St. Francis Church in Kilmarnock, VA.
