I am in total shock. And I’m really sad. Michael, you were so much fun to be around. I remember when Henninger received their very first set of high school computers and you were actually able to hack into them because of your brilliance. I laughed so hard. And I could never-ever win at chess with you, so I tried to avoid it. You were so smart and so amazing. My heart is breaking. You will be missed.

I have so many fond memories of Michael. Diving at Schiller pool, going to Chicago to see the diving Olympic Trials and just hanging out in High School. May you rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. We were at Henninger together and shared French class. He had such high standards and expectations for himself! When Family Ties came on tv a few years after graduation I remember thinking that we’d had our very own Alex Keaton in the form of Mike!
I’m sad to hear that life was so difficult for him and hope he’s at peace now.
Condolences to his family.

Michael came to our house every Sunday and holiday for my entire childhood. He was like a brother to me. Although we lost touch, I will always remember him fondly.

Michael was bright and athletic as a young man as his acceptance to the Naval Academy would indicate. As indicated in the obituary, he suffered with mental illness and substance abuse but he kept his wit and humor throughout his life. We are all saddened by his passing.
