Scott McKinstry, 64, of Syracuse passed away January 1, 2024.

Scott was born on January 1, 1959 in Presque Isle, Maine. He enjoyed playing guitar and Irish Music. Scott served in the Navy from 1977 – 1985 where he was stationed on the USS Paul Foster.

He is predeceased by his parents Donald and Beverly McKinstry and sister, Dawn Jones.

Scott is survived by his wife, Becky Wright McKinstry, son, Christopher (Kathryn), daughter, Amy McKinstry, brothers, Ralph of Spokane, WA, Bruce (Page) Vienna, VA, Eric (Sue) of Utica, NY, nephews, Will of Vienna, VA, Matthew and Cory, York, PA as well as grandchildren, Madison, Liam, Brielle and Caeden.

To Celebrate Scott the family would like to invite people to the Syracuse Turners Club, 619 North Salina Street on January 6, 2023 from 12-3pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
