Patricia Nojaim Obituary

Patricia Ellen Nojaim, 89, of Syracuse passed away Saturday March 2, 2024.


Pat was born April 21, 1934 to the late John and Anna McSweeney. Pat lived the majority of her life in Syracuse, NY. She went to school at St. Anthony's. During her school years she was affectionately known as Mickey. At Anthony's she met her husband, Charles R. Nojaim. They married in 1955 and moved to New Orleans, LA. They returned to Syracuse and started their family. In retirement years they spent their winters in Florida. First in Clearwater and then in New Smyrna Beach


Pat enjoyed her family, garden club, bowling and golf. Over the years she played golf in several of the ladies’ leagues at Bellevue Country Club, Tuscarora Golf Club and Sugar Mill Country Club. She loved to watch all sports on TV.


She is predeceased by her parents and her siblings: Jack, Dan, Jim and Nancy.


Pat is survived by her husband, Charlie, her children: Kathleen (Jim), Nancy, Richard (Lori), Paul (Daisy) and Daniel; her grandchildren: Christina, Chad, Paul, Jimmie, Kyle, Trisha, Anna, Jack, Adrianna, Carlos and Natalie; great grandchildren: Laila, Anthony, RJ and Amari.


Pat’s family would like to thank the caregivers who took such wonderful care of her these past few years: Amy, Daniel, Rachel, Micki and Audrey.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday March 7, 2024 at 11am at St. Lucys Church, Syracuse. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10-11am prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Lucy’s Church, 432 Gifford St, Syracuse, NY 13204.
