Obituary of Kelly J. McGurk

Kelly J. McGurk 65, of Syracuse, NY passed away April 10, 2024, peacefully at home. Kelly was a medical secretary for many years, before eventually spending time with her children and grandchildren. She went to West Genesse High School, and married her high school sweetheart, Ray McGurk. Kelly loved her family fiercely, was a breast cancer survivor, and loved her cats. She spent most of her time in Tipperary Hill, was well known, and liked by all who knew her. She was a force of nature, and Mamma Kelly to all of the neighborhood.

 

Kelly is predeceased by her parents, Jack A. Cook Sr. and Phyllis M. Cook, and her two brothers, Mark and Jack A. Cook Jr.  She is survived by Raymond J. McGurk, her children, Erin (Gordon) McGurk, of Syracuse, Ryane (Bubba) McGurk of Solvay, Keaton McGurk of Syracuse, and Sidney McGurk of Solvay, a sister, Lisa M. Adour, nee Cook of Camillus, 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

 

Calling hours will be Wednesday April 17, 2024 from 4pm-6pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave with a service following directly after at 6pm.
