Gary S. Hoosock, 68, of Syracuse, NY passed away on May 18,2024.  He retired as a machine operator from New Process Gear and was a member of St. Lucy’s Church. Gary enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing at his camp on Cross Lake, woodworking and doing projects around the house. He adored his dogs, Mocha and Hershey.

Gary is predeceased by his parents, Theresa and Stephen Hoosock, and nephew, Michael Hoosock.

He is survived by his siblings, Steve, Dan (Cindy), Ann, Bob (Erin), Mike, and Bill (Heather) and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11am at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave.  Calling hours will be prior from 9 to 11am at the funeral home.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
