Obituary of Anne D. Laubach

Anne Doherty Laubach passed away on July 2, 2024.  Anne was a lifetime resident of Syracuse, a graduate of Most Holy Rosary High School, was retired from Niagara Mohawk Power, worked as an inspector for the board of elections and was a member of St. Ann's Church and the Cavalry Club.

Anne was predeceased by her husband, John in 2009, her son, Todd (2012), her great granddaughter, Lennon McDonald (2022) and her parents, Lott and Virginia (Buckley) Doherty.

She is survived by 2 sons, James H. (Holli) and Mark D., 2 grandsons, Jack Henry and Stephen (Meghan) McDonald, 2 great grandsons, Bryson and Hunter McDonald, her brother, Michael J. Doherty, several nieces and nephews and many, many dear friends and the rosary goddesses (her friends from kindergarten).

Her sons would like to express a special thanks to Marilyn and Honey for their devotion and care to their mom.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 10am at St. Charles Church, 417 S. Orchard Rd.  Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 4 to 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in Onondaga Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
