She was a homemaker early on and took several part time jobs to help make ends meet. She was predeceased by her mother, Vivian Romas, and step-father, Stephen Romas, former husband Wayne Phillips and long-time boyfriend Steve Hicks.
Her family will remember her for her compassion for animals, love of food, shopping, and holidays, her perfectly and festively wrapped gifts, and the “sleigh” full of presents arriving at Christmastime.
She will be laid to rest in a private service at Valley Cemetery in Syracuse, NY on Monday, July 29th. Edward J Ryan and Son Funeral Home has taken care of her arrangements.
