To Billy's Family and Friends:
We join in extending our sincere heartfelt sympathy to you and your family during this most difficult time. May happier memories help to sustain you and bring you comfort through this period of sorrow.
And may God grant him his wings as he soars to a place where he is free from all pain. To his loving family…..may the joy and laughter of his life, far outweigh the pain of his passing. He will indeed be missed, but never forgotten.
Billy and I worked together at Fire Station Two. He was a very dedicated public servant who I was honored to call my friend.
Please accept our profound regrets, as we are unable to attend his services.
With love and prayers,
Jim Ennis & Sandra Winkworth

Even though I never interacted with Bill personally, his life made a great impression on my family. I am proud that I gained a connection to his family through the marriage of Nikki to Freddie. I learned his kindness and generosity through my children and envied those Sunday dinners Nikki always regaled about. I don’t know any words that can assuage the grief consuming his family and friends. However, I do beseech God to bless and comfort his family with the warm and loving remembrances of his life.
God bless you all. Don Geiss, Sr.

I’m saddened to hear about Bill’s passing. I’ll always remember his kindness and warming smile. He was a good friend to all that knew him. We dated for awhile in 1967. He was truly a gentleman. Rip Bill.

My deepest condolences to Bill's family. I was a high school classmate of Bill's. He was always a genuine and friendly guy with a big smile. I knew that he became a fireman with SFD. I also knew that he married a wonderful woman and had a beautiful family. I ran into him a couple of times over the years, and we chatted. He was a good man in every way. I am very sorry for your loss.

Bill and Sharon were warm, friendly and welcoming members of the Gem & Mineral Society of Syracuse. They always pitched right in and lead the way in any endeavor they participated in.

William and Mena, Your Father created a beautiful memory for me as a preteen. He valued this young person as much as the boy cousins his age down here. He was always one of my special cousins. One time I traveled to Syracuse, you were young children at the time, with 2 of my friends. Your Mom introduced me to salt potatoes(a northern dish). I had just graduated from college and was teaching. As time passed I would travel back to the Valley to visit with him and Sharon as they traveled through on their way back from the beach. Hold on to your wonderful memories. Keeping you in my prayers.

Bill,
You helped make the company thrive in spite of all the opposition. When the time came for me to move on, you saw the potential, the solid reputation, and the staff that could make it go.
You made me proud to see my name on billboards when I came back to visit, and took it far beyond what I could have.
Thanks Bill,
We will share a cold one on the other side my friend.
