In the summer of 2023, Thomas Tokaryk welcomed me into his home as a friend of his granddaughter, Greta, to celebrate the Fourth of July. This beautiful home in Sylvan Beach had so much love built into every nook and cranny, and the memories, laughter, and immense care for and of his family was felt so dearly in every room. I will forever be grateful for the memories of left-right-center, the delicious meals cooked by his wife shared around the table, the fireworks watched in his canoe, and the warm waves in the sun. While I may not have gotten to know him well, I do well know his strength of character, legacy of honor, and generosity lives on through every member of his family I have had the privilege to meet. My heart, thoughts, and prayers go to you all in this time. Thank you for making me feel like a part of your joyous family, and may his love be carried through and with you always.

I was so sorry to read of Tommie's passing.
He was such a funny, nice guy. We had lot's of good times at W G ! And did some dumb stuff together.
I am glad I ran into him a couple of years back and caught up a little on the old day's.

We have had the privilege and honor of knowing Tom for about 26 years we met when his son and our daughter became engaged and right from the beginning we knew he was a loving father and husband and in a short time was to become a very loving Pa to his grand children.Over the years we attended grand children’s birthday parties where we shared many laughs as well as graduations and most recently the wedding of the first granddaughter.Tom was a gentle and kind man and will be thought of often and missed greatly.Susan and Toms large family are in our thoughts and prayers .With Love,Bill and Connie Devendorf
