Obituary of Fay S. Thibeault

Fay S. Thibeault, 92, of Westvale, New York passed away November 24, 2024 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Syracuse, New York on August 19, 1932, to Wendyl and Charles Stoddard. She graduated from Nottingham High School in 1950.

Fay, worked for American Airlines, Syracuse University and at Onondaga Community College as a switchboard operator for 41 years.

In her spare time Fay loved the theater and was very active with the local theatre groups. The Onondaga Hill players, Chis Lightcap Productions and Rex Henrio doing publicity and acting. She also enjoyed traveling with her sister Jude and was a talented artist, crafter and enjoyed reading.

Fay is predeceased by her husband Albert J. Thibeault in 2010 and her daughter Virginia M. Jones in 2024. She is survived by her two daughters Janet (Terry) Reynolds and Brenda (James) Stever both of Syracuse and her two sons Michael (Jean Kelsey) of Marcellus and Stephen (Glen Booth) of Baldwinsville. Her sister Jude Priest of Camillus. Two grandchildren Rhiannon Jones of North Carolina and John Jones of Washington State. Several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Fay’s family would like to give a special thank you; to her home health aides Kim and Jessica and to the nurses and doctors at Upstate Community Hospital Intensive Care Unit for their amazing care and support.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 03, 2024 from 11:30am to 12:30 pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Avenue, Syracuse New York. A service will be held at 12:30 pm at the funeral home following calling hours. Burial will be private.
