Dear Mike, Terry, Chris and Family, It is difficult to express my thoughts on the passing of your mom..first we were just neighbors but then a great friendship came about...a remarkable women whom I shall always remember and miss. We were blessed living across the the street from Joe and Thelma Bonzek...thank you for sharing your parents with us all these many years. We send our deepest sympathy to you all...God Bless. Thelma was a friend, a mentor, and a reliable source of common sense. I met her when she gave our daughter piano lessons thirty years ago. I was blessed to become friends with Thelma and Joe. For all who knew them they provided a solid example of a successful marriage. They loved each other and their family. They helped make us all a little more grateful.

I am so grateful to have had Thelma as my friend and neighbor for 39 years. I will miss hearing her play the piano as the breezes carried her tunes my way. Her kind heart, love of children, love of music and the joy she shared will be fondly remembered.

Thelma will always hold a special place in my heart. I loved listening to all her stories especially the ones about my Mom and Dad. It made me feel as though they were still here with me. I will miss her terribly.

To the Bonzek family, Condolences to Mrs Bonzek’s family. I lived at the other side of Stolp on Reed Ave growing up. She was such a sweet, welcoming woman. She left wonderful memories of music and sweetness for a young neighbor decades ago. RIP
