Scotty passed away on Dec. 26, 2024.  He was known to be a warm, giving, loving and happy go lucky guy.  He retired from Onondaga County in 2016 after 34 years of service. Scotty was a parishioner of Most Holy Rosary parish for the past few years and worked at their food pantry.  He was an active member of the West End Republican Club for many years and a past president.

Scotty was predeceased by his parents, John “Jack” and Diane “Mitzi” Heffron. He is survived by his brother, Michael (Nancy), sisters, Patricia Heffron and Kelly (Brian) DeSocio, Aunt, Poni Probst, nephews, Sean (Trinity) Heffron, Nathan Heffron and Joseph DeSocio, many great nieces, nephews and several cousins and his buddy, Max.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2024 at 11am at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave. Calling Hours will be held prior from 10- 11am at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Baldwinsville.
