Suzanne M. Todero Obituary

Suzanne Marie (McHale) Todero of Syracuse, New York peacefully passed away with family at her side on December 25,, 2024 following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Suzanne was born in Astoria, New York, but was a lifelong resident of Syracuse. She was a graduate of St. Anthony’s School and attended Central City Business Institute. Suzanne worked as an Administrative Assistant until retirement and spent the majority of her career working for the Syracuse City District Pre-Kindergarten department. Suzanne enjoyed gardening, tending to her many flowers, watching backyard birds and spending time with her neighbors and grandchildren.


Suzanne is pre-deceased by her husband of 43 years, Daniel Todero Jr. who passed away in 2015; her father, William McHale and mother, Marie McHale (Hofstetter). She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Jillann Todero; daughter, Stephanie Todero; grandchildren, Julian and Connor Todero; brother, William McHale; and sisters, Doreen Bosch, Bonnie Boezeman and Joanne Hair.


 A Service will be held Thursday April 3, 2025 at 12:30pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service from 11am-12:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Francis House at 108 Michaels Ave, Syracuse, New York 13208.
