Barbara A. Schoeneck Obituary
Barbara A. Schoeneck, 79, of Westvale, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Barbara was a nurse's aide at Westhill High School and a communicate of St. Charles of Borromeo. She was very avid sports fan, following national and college sports and Nascar racing. She participated in YMCA folk march rallies, enjoyed traveling the states, especially Alaska and loved summers at the cottage on Otisco Lake.
Barbara is predeceased by her parents, William and Frances Hyland. She is survived by her husband, William, children, James, Katherine (Anne), and Patrick (Terri), and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on February 9, 2015 at St. Charles of Borromeo Church, Orchard Rd. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be to the Hope for Bereaved, 4500 Onondaga Boulevard, Syracuse, NY 13219 and St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
