Obituary of Patricia A. Phillips

Patricia A. Phillips, 84, passed away Friday, December 5th. She was born and raised in Syracuse and attended Vocational High School. Pat worked as a cashier in many local grocery stores and retired from Wegmans as office manager in 1996. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Phillips; son, William Phillips and her longtime companion, Arnold DuRocher. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (John) Murphy; son, Robert (Kathy); daughter-in-law, Carol Phillips and sister, Kathleen Kiggins. Pat is also survived by her grandchildren, Lorene Mudaliar, William Phillips, Kevin Murphy, Timothy Murphy, Shannon VanSlyke, Kelly Kenney, Sarah Patterson, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10am at St. Brigid -St. Joseph Church on Willis Ave. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5-7pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association of CNY 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
