Obituary of Mary L. Fox

Mary L. Fox, 87, of Syracuse passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016. Mary retired from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 1998. In her retirement, she enjoyed spending the winters in Florida, camping, crossword puzzles, knitting, reading and spending time with her family. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Catherine Lundy and by her sister, Vera Kingston. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ralph, her daughter, Diane Gould, three sons; David (Patricia), Dennis (Petra), and Douglas (Rita) Fox, her sister, Eleanor Clapper, two brothers, Edward and William (Chris) Lundy, nine grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 at 10:00 am in Holy Family Church. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 from 4 to 7 pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
