Obituary of Mark D. Murphy

Mark Daniel Murphy, age 68, died on July 26, 2015 at Upstate Medical Center. He was son of Edward and Rosemary Murphy (McCloskey). He is survived by his wife, Marie (Barry) and their three sons, John (Laura), Mark Jr. (Jennifer) and Patrick (Elizabeth). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren; Jack, Sean, Collin, Jill, John, Colleen, Ben, Katherine Murphy and his five siblings, E. Patrick, Michael, James, Rosemary and Katherine in addition to several nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School, attended St. Bonaventure University and was a member of Local 43 of the IBEW for 44 years. He will be forever missed. Services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 am at St. Patrick's Church on Lowell Ave. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Francis House 108 Michaels Ave, Syracuse, NY 13208.
