Pokey, we were so touched to see your kind post about dad! Yes he was an amazing man. Family always came first to him. His one remaining sister passed away at the age of 91 on the day of dads funeral. So there is peace in knowing he is reunited with all his siblings.
I've finally figured out how to reply through the funeral home site, so I apologize for the late reply. I hope you and your family are well. I still live in Syracuse if you ever want to connect, and Bonnie and Kathleen are close by in skaneateles. Mom goes to Florida for a few months in the winter, then comes back up in May. Her health has been declining but she hangs in there. My phone number is the same: 478-5847. And I'm also on Facebook as Donna McGee Oglesby. God bless! Wishing you a healthy, happy, peaceful 2015.

Thank you Ellen. Our Dads were lifelong buddies. They didn't come any better. Our Dads name was written right under your Dads name in the book at St Lucy's. Very fitting for them. God bless.
