Obituary of Carlo Ciarpelli

Carlo, 92, and Irene "Brenda" (Collier) Ciarpelli, 90, passed away at their home in Camillus with family by their sides, Carlo on October 11 and Irene on October 31, 2014. The happily married couple of 69 years met while Carlo was serving in England during WWII. They married in Brenda's hometown, High Wycombe London, England on July 15, 1945 and came to America on December 25, 1946. Carlo worked for 42 years at Crucible Steel and Brenda worked as a homemaker and was a loving mother of their children. They are survived by their three sons, Antony Sr. (Ann), Mitchell, Keith (Kathy), four grandchildren, Antony Jr. (Kim), Kevin (Jodi), Brendon, and Eric, four great-grandchildren, Todd, Ashley, Nicholas and Benjamin. The family would like to acknowledge a special thank you to Mary, Pauette and Linda their caregivers. At their wishes there were no callings hours. A private celebration of their lives was held under the direction of the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home. They were buried together at Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
