Obituary of Janice W. Stanek

Janice W. Stanek, 63, lifelong resident of Syracuse N.Y. passed peacefully surrounded by her family after a long illness. Predeceased by her mother, Camille. Survived by her husband of 38 years, Steven Stanek, daughter, Jessica Butler (Michael), father, Robert C. Weber, brother, Rev. Robert C. Weber Jr., sister-in-law, Christine Stanek, two beautiful grandsons, many friends, and relatives. Janice was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, a lifelong case worker; known for her boundless love for family, friends, clients, animals, everyone! Services will be held Monday, September 21, 2015 at 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse. Calling hours will be 4 to 7pm prior to the service. Burial will be private. Donations in Janice's honor may be made to the Humane Society of CNY, 4915 W. Taft Rd., Liverpool, NY, 13088.
