I have so many fond memories of growing up in the Valley just a house away from the Dwyer family. Mrs. Dwyer is certainly a big part of those memories. How lucky all of you were to have her in your lives for so long! My deepest sympathies to all her children and their families.

I feel very fortunate to have known Peggy, you will be missed very much. Our long professional and social associations/celebrations during our Lincoln days is much treasured. Our Lincoln Ladies group that met once a month on a rotating basis in our homes is something we all looked forward after stressful schooldays. Dear Maureen and Family,
There always was something special about
being around your mom. She had this warm, welcoming way not just with
some...but with all. You never felt like an outsider. There was always
giggles and all out belly laughs. She always was looking her in kitchen
for a treat to share if we just happened to stop by....and there always
was one! She took an interest in everyone and their stories....and
always had one to share. She loved nothing more than her family, her
strong faith and her heritage. She raised a wonderful family and always
spoke so fondly of your dad....like he was always there with her. Peg,
you were full of grace, and a spirit that was unmatched.....Heaven just
received a beautiful gift. Rest in Peace with all your friends and loved
ones.

A conversation with your mom in the faculty room of Lincoln Middle School changed our lives! She told me about her little grandson, Matt, who had started playing hockey. Sounded fun so we decided to give it a try and signed up our son and daughter ages 5 and 6. Little did we know that it would consume our winters for the next 14 years! We loved every minute of it and I was always grateful to your mom. She was a delightful and special woman. You were lucky to have her and I am so sorry for your loss.

To all of Peggy's family, Your Mom was truly a treasure. My Mother, Agnes Ryan Korzeniewski and Peggy were such good friends back in the day.. As the story goes, I believe, Peg was the president and my mother was vice-president of the "Class of 42" from St. Patricks. They had such fond memories together.
