Obituary of Rosemary A. Boyle

Rosemary A. Boyle, 91, of Onondaga Hill passed away June 1, 2015. She was born in Syracuse and has lived on Onondaga Hill the past 40 years. Rosemary was a graduate of St. Lucy's Academy, raised her 6 children and then worked as a switch board operator for CNY Orthopedics until her retirement in 1990. Rosemary was predeceased by her husband, Donald H. Boyle; her parents, Robert and Ellen Casey; three brothers, Rev. Robert J. Casey, William (Ellen) Casey, Carl Casey; and her sister, Helen Casey. She is survived by her children; Michael (Mary Susanne), Donald (Sharon), Daniel (Patti), John (Mary Kate), Robert (Martha), Colleen (Kevin) Reilly; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; two sister in laws, Shirley Binette and Ann Marie Boyle and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick's Church on Route 80 in Otisco, NY. Calling hours will held from 4 to 7pm on Wednesday at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse. Burial will be in St. Agnes. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave, Syracuse, NY 13208. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the caregivers over the past few years for their attention and care to Rosemary.
