Obituary of William F. Mullen

William "Pit" F. Mullen, 72, of Syracuse passed away Sunday, February 8th, 2015. He was a member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters local 267. He was a member of Westvale Golf Course which is also where he earned two holes in one. William is predeceased by a son, William J.; two sisters, Noreen Towsley and Elizabeth Costello. He is survived by his wife, Gretchen Mullen (Marvin); children, Matt, Laurie, Jammie, Kevin and Anne-Marie Mancilla (Jesus); brothers, Martin (Barbara) and Patrick (Heather); sisters, Cathy Mullen and Terry Sweeney (Sean); six grandchildren, William, Amy, Christopher, Eileen, Maya and Jackson; great-grandchildren Emerson and Anna as well as several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday, February 12th, 2015 at 10am at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Epilepsy Foundation, 1045 James St, Syracuse, NY 13203.
