James B. Earl, 59, of Syracuse and Sandy Pond, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 21, 2014. He was born in Syracuse and graduated

from West Genesee High School. Jim was a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 62 and was an Elevator Mechanic

for Schindler Elevator Corporation. He enjoyed boating and was a SU sports and Buffalo Bills fan. Jim was an active member of the Sandy Pond

Sportsman Association.

Jim was predeceased by his parents Fred and Helen Earl. He is survived by his soul mate of 34 years, Catherine Gasparini Earl, his son, James and

Daughter, Jennifer LaRowe (Tyler), sisters: Michele Salvett (Bob), Patricia Kambic (Steve), and brother, Fred, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 12 pm. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, 4 to 7pm at the funeral home.
